Expensive != good.
Look at Praetor's PSU 101 and go through the lists of better PSU's. Generally anyone with over 26A on the +12v rail is good enough for me but you may want more or you may want.......more (I don't think you'd want low amperage).

I agree on the psu comments.

Also may i ask if you intend to overclock this system. If not ditch the XP-120, stock cooling will be fine (you'll need to move up to retail 3500+ not oem)

Maybe consider upping your hdd to sata II since your board supports it. Recommend the Western Digital Caviar Special Edition 200GB 2000JS
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/westerndigital_sata.html
it on special offer this week at is about the same price as the maxtor you listed.

all else is good

I think i'll do as you advised and get a new powersupply then....but should i get a different case without a powersupply?? because it is £100.

I've decided to drop the case, so i can get a more powerful psu as you guys advised but i'm not sure wat case and psu would be suitable...if someone could give me some advice on a new case that will fit everything or post a link from overclockers on the case, i would much appreciate it:

ASUS a8n-sli nForce4 sli (socket 939) PCI-express motherboard (mb-101-as)
there are better boards (non ASUS.. i.e., MSI and DFI ones)... if you're adament on ASUS, consider the premium edition... ASUS fixed up a few issues with their "normal" deluxe model. also make sure the xp120 is compatible with that motherboard

all of it is compatible but dont use the powersupply that comes with the case buy one seperate and make sure you buy one that is expensive and not cheap
whats wrong with the PSU?

im not sure if the xp-120 will fit on that, ull have to ask/look around, u could just get an xp-90 to be safe
well check the xp90 too :)

it would fit fine, if he actually needs it
you sure?
