ok, i currently have 1 21" monitor,. but i can get another 1 for free.
however.. whats the pro's of it, when playing games?

i dont really see the pro of playing games on dual screen. i think you move your eyes more and it consumes twice the electric. i would be useful to watch movie/tv on one while posting here on another :D

pro: if you hvae a powerful processor or a dual core processor, you can run a game on each screen.
or you can do homework and watch a movie at the same time :D

con: twice the space, kills your eye even more, twice the use of power, twice the heat production,

well some games are nice to play dual screen, but not the games that deal with shooting b/c then it gets too confusing. but what you could do is play a game on 1 scren and on the other you can just have you desktop and you could use it if u needed to while u were gaming.

well.. im not only playing shooters.. but also flight (combat)sims and silent hunter 3.
is it possible to get something like a "movie view" while i play on the other screen?
(in case that i have spectators :P )

Not a lot of games are multimon friendly let alone support dual screen gameplay ... which games did you have in mind?

And which games did you have in mind for this? (because fulscreenmode is a screen-exclusive state) :)

Yes that's doable

i would use dual monitors more for work, but a flight sim tho is a good game for multiple monitors. if u have two lcd's its even better!

well.. the games i want to play are Pacific fighters, MS FS 2002/2004 silent hunter 3 (wich im pretty shure of it supports dual monito. cuz a smal movie screen apears on yous screen as soon as you launch a torpedoe :) )

but. i am also playing battlefield 2 and CS:S and such.. do these games support dual monitor.. i mean, like playing on 1 screen, and have the map/score on the other one full screen? ;)

See what you do is play a game on one screen and watch a movie or tv or be doing work and downloading things on the other.. i love duel screen set ups. ;)

And how did you set this up? :) (short of playing windowed mode)

It was on my old system that i sold. I'll try to rember the name of the program that i downloaded that let me do it. If i find it ill let you know. :)

i have 2 monitors set up on my computer a 18 inch dell dvi and a 17 inch crt dsub and i can watch a movie on one screen and go on the internet on the other one or play games and dowload stuff or go on the internet

Being someone that has a dual-monitor setup, Games will generally open on your primary monitor and leave your second one alone. If the game lets you move your mouse offscreen to the other monitor, when you click something it will minimize the game, though I have set my dual-screen up so the screen acts like 2 seperate desktops, you can also set it up like a single widescreen desktop which would stretch the wallpaper and taskbar to make it act like 1 monitor, you might have dual-screen gaming that way but it would be annoying with the gap between monitors. The 3rd dual-monitor selection is "clone" which basically shows the exact same thing on each monitor, this is the same way people connect their projectors to computers. I've never seen a game support dual-monitors but I guess it could happen. I wouldn't game on dual screen because since your 1 graphics card would have to work twice as much to display the ever-changing image on both monitors. This wouldn't necessarily cut your FPS in half but it will have a bad effect on performance. This would prolly not be a problem on multi-GPU or high-end GPU systems.
