Prototye Resolution Problem

i have been running prototype on my 1440x900 monitor for a while and have had no problems. but i recently tried running it on a widescreen tv (1920x1080) and when i tried to change the resolution options in the game, it only went to 24hz (the tv caption box displayed the refresh rate). there aren't any ways to change this in-game, so what can i do? i have tried restarting the game and stuff like that to no avail.

Have you adjusted the frame ratio or whatever it's called(should be 16:9 or something like that for your tv)

that shouldn't matter since i am running the game at 19201080. it's just that the game runs it at 24hz instead of 60hz.

Does your TV support 1080p? Or is it 720p?

1080p i believe, although it could possibly be 1080i. i know it is 1080 something though.
