My friend claims that Voodoo makes the best graphic card curently available... Prove him wrong... :P
 
Lol, yeah I tried to tell him the 7800GTX was the best and that Voodoo sucked but I think he got jeallos that I was getting the 7800GT so he starts saying he has a kick ass "motherchip", and I asked him if he overclocked it and hes says yes... Then I ask him if he knows what that is and goes "no but its like that anyway"... And then he starts saying how he has a "creative blaster" video card from Voodoo and its the best graphic card ever. I tell him no it isnt and he says it comes with games... I think he has some things mixed up...
 
he's obviously just jealous, don't worry about it. i had a friend that was kind of like that. if i upgraded my processor, he'd get the one a step above mine. if i spent $65 on my case, he'd spend $66. once he had a 2000+ processor, and i called him and told him i just bought a 2400+. that weekend he went out and bought a 2800+.

that shounds like your friend, accept he doesn't know ANYTHING about computers.
 
I would only problem is I cant build it and ibuypower had the cheapest prices I could find. What places have cheaper prices?

Many years ago the Voodoo2 was the best thing around, spent $500 getting both in SLI and it was gaming goodness.
 
Voodoo? I've not heard of this company :S. Do you mean Voodoo by 3dfx? if so then they no longer excist so how could they be better?

Heres how you prove em wrong. Tell em that the videocard he claims to have does not excist, Tell em if he does have a voodoo card then it's very much outdated and that they do not make videocards any longer and have not for a very long time.

There you win case closed :P. BTW I wonder why no one else has pointed this out yet.
 
Too bad 3DFX isn't still around they would probably have a pretty good card out so that we'd have more choice than ATI/nVidia because all the other graphics chip designers (ie matrox) don't make a good gaming card.

Trident will come back in a big way (I'm hoping [from what I hear and read]) but God knows when that will be.
