Ps3 Guru Needed

Okay Ps3 games are region free... meaning I can play an ntsc in a pal ps3... but what about blu ray movies?

So a friend in europe has a ps3, could I bring my blu ray movies to play in his ps3? or is that only for games?

Country is germany if that matters

I don't think so.. The movie industry wouldn't allow it.

Yeah, I just googled it, they're regionalized.

However you do find documentation stating that many blu-ray dvds are multi region, or region free. It's up to the movie publisher whether or not they are.. The PS3 itself isn't region free though.
