PS3 or X360?

I'd go with the 360 on the basis that it is $100 cheaper and imo the controllers are MUCH better. Also, the ps3 takes up a lot more power than the 360 (unless that's changed since both were first released). Also, the ps3 is big and an ugly shape.

If you would use the bluray drive than I'd consider the ps3 though, which could be a big factor.

Yah, and you know wat sucks dude, is that it can only utilize 1 or 2(i beleive one) cores of that 8 core beast! wtf!, lol or is it 7 idk 7,8 either one, i would love to have an 8 core cpu running at 3.2ghz on my gaming rig :)
 
my vote

id say final fantasy 13 for ps3 cuz 360 version will be compressed alot while ps3 version wont be compressed so it will be more better for ps3 being that its not gonna be compressed to death to fit on the 360's dual layer dvd's btw the slim ps3 i hear consumes less power and doesnt run as hot as the original

Cell is not really 8 cores, its a single core cpu powerpc processor, and then 6 RISC's for physics calculation at whatnot in games pretty much(7th is disabled to account for if there is a damaged RISC to increase yields), and then a separate chip for the gpu as well.

Also, the slim only draws ~80W, the x360 draws more than that.
