Ps3 slim!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can see a similar problem happening with this one as did with the PS2 slim:

It feels cheap and flimsy and like it is very VERY easy to break by snapping it in half.

It will overheat if you use it for any more than the time it takes from pressing the on button to the game loading (exageration obviously before someone takes me seriously on that)

It will be way too expensive.

I don't have or particularly want a PS3, but if i did then I would rather have the proper one, not some lighter but more expensive one

=edit add-on=

lmao i just read the first comment on that site and it is so true:

Why did they make it a square? It looks like George Foreman f*cked a Dreamcast.

It does look like a george foreman grill :P

I got a PS3 and sold it the next month it was useless and I couldn't find any good games on it that I wanted to play. The only useful thing was the blu-ray player. I'm fine with my 360 I don't play it any more I been playing games on my computer instead.

I wouldn't waste my money on it... I don't game very often, and if I do it's rare. But is the cooling in the slim worse than the fatties?

I'm not a console gamer so I have no interest in it. I'll get the occasional 360 game, but thats because I didn't buy the console :)

Besides, I have a Blu-ray player already. I have a Wii that can go online, 5 computers, and a 360 that can access my media files :)

Thats the same thing they did with the PS2. It was slim, cheap, and overheated. It got really annoying too because if you left it on for like a day, the next day it would making this buzzing noise. :(

overkill? lol. I'm just jealous. I need 5 computer so I can brag about them too. :D

I have:
My Desktop (Sig)
ASUS Eee PC 900HA (Got it cause my D600 was annoying the hell out of me)
Dell Latitude D600 (could probably use a mobo replacement though)
Dell Latitude E6500 (Just got it last month for college - great gamer machine :D)
Motion M1400 Tablet PC (Should be here Thursday)

I have the 80 gig with 4 usb ports and ps2 support. So I see no need to be excited.

I think the price is the best thing. It would be good for people just getting in to the ps3/bluray market.

Really I don't know of anything they could put out that would make a ps3 user want to go buy another one. They should be working on giving the best price possible.

If they could put one out for 200 they'd really have something.

They could easily put one out for $200 if they get rid of the Blu-Ray but they wont because it is the only thing they have over the 360.

I just checked www.game.co.uk and they have it preorder for £250, so we are getting ripped right off :P That is about $375USD. Notice though how the normal ones are still more expensive than the slim because they look better, have better cooling and you know you get what you pay for, you have to with something that size :P

Still wouldn't have a PS3 anyway. If i had the money i would get one just for when FFXIII versus comes out, but i am happy with my computer and xbox, so don't plan on it. It is a waste of R&D i think.

Wow.. Do you even use the d600 anymore?

Meh, it looks cool. Gives people another option.

I never had problems with my PS2 slim, or with any PS2 slim in fact. No overheating problems at all.

Aastii, for someone who apparently has no interest in this your quite involved in this thread. You're either interested in the PS3 slim, or you're a Hypocrite.
