I never had problems with my PS2 slim, or with any PS2 slim in fact. No overheating problems at all.

Aastii, for someone who apparently has no interest in this your quite involved in this thread. You're either interested in the PS3 slim, or you're a Hypocrite.

no i like the technology side of it. I respect the console because of the technology in it, but i wouldn't have one, i am happy with my xbox and pc, the ps3 doesn't have any games i am interested in or any features

I also happen to know that whatever any of the 3 big consoles do (PS3, xbox 360 and wii) can affect the others in so much as price, games, addons, hardware etc.

It is like i know that i will never have the best of the best computer, but i am interested in the latest and greatest technology.

No, because of the motherboard issue that causes the MiniPCI slot to not work, along with the constant freezing.
