PS3 vs PC

It will be all pc soon people around here a realizing that it is pointless to have a console and a computer so more people are playing the pc and selling the console it will be old history soon around here because pc’s can do more things, more powerful, more efficient now etc. for the price
A console is half a pc

my pc kicks a** it can almost play any kind of game. :D :P But I'm still going to get the ps3 of some games.

How can anyone with half a brain say that PC gaming will over-come console gaming? Consoles out-sell PC's in terms of games 50:1. Console gaming is WAY more popular than PC gaming - as a whole. However, I perfer playing FPS and RPG games on a PC; but that doesn't change the fact that console games out-sell PC games but an absolutely huge margin.

consoles have the games. not everyone can afford to spend $1000 on a pretty nice gaming pc (not even close to top of the line with that budget), but people can afford $400-500 for a console that offers 100 times the selection of games, while retaining the ability to play them the way they are supposed to be seen

Consoles = Great in-person multiplayer, Affordable, and generally and all around good system for someone playing games casually.
PC = Surpasses all consoles, more for the computer "enthusiast", more upgradability, but in the end MUCH more expensive.

So lets just conclude that for the average person they will not need anything more than a console (PS3 or Xbox360). This is also the best Bang for the Buck Deal. And, well... comps are always going to be the best because of their frequently changing technology. End of discussion :)

P11 is correct here, yes better bang for your buck if you want to just play casual games , just over here lots of people have a media center e.g. DVD burner, DVD player TV and recorder, big wide screen, game machine etc etc on their pc replacing a traditional home theater system like I have done .what’s the point of having 2 objects that do exactly the same thing? Unless you have conflicts of use or location.
Have you guys seen a LAN party lately? in our very small town we have a LAN every 2 weeks over 2 or so days straight and hundreds of pc’s turn up to LAN, what so fun we need a bigger hall every year. We actually buy the cat6 cable in bulk rolls to accommodate the mass networks

Yes go for it and buy a console if you like them and want to play casual games, you wont get a pc that’s that powerful for that insane price!!!!!!!!
