Ps3 Wirieless vs Wired

Hi all, I have a ps3 and I noticed it is a bit laggy on the internet. I am curruntly using WLAN. My internet connection is 35 Mbps down and 25 mbps up, but I still lag... would changing my connection to cat6 really improve my persformance?

i had a ps3 on wired then when i got a better router switched it over to wireless and i noticed no difference.
one thing that always annoyed me about the big ps3 (i got the first uk model dunno if they changed it later) is the ethernet port dosent seem to solid and i found that a small amount of pressure would cause it to lose connection.
but not that much of a big problem i just moved the thing

I wired all my devices that are not mobile. Wireless is less reliable that wired obviously, so that is how I set mine up.
