if you're after racing games there are plenty to choose from as you may well know. I'm currently playing outrun 2006 coast to coast... getting very difficult to do anything on there right now lol.
If you intend on running homebrew applications on there i would make sure that you keep well away from the firmware version 2.7 as that basically locks out ANY possible avenues for exploit on the PSP. go here for info on home brew http://noobz.eu/

Guilty Gear Judgement, Tales of Eternia, Coded Arms. Also 2.7 has been locked up but 2.8 has potential for homebrew, so I would look it up first before upgrading.
