PSU 24 Pin Broke?

I just assembled my new computer and realized oh, dang my old PSU is a 20 pin (and the mobo is 24). So I go out and buy a 24 pin PSU and hook it up. The computer doesn't turn on!
I notice in the 24 pin, one of the pins in the PSU cable has no metal in it like all the rest. Is that right? Because that would be like a 23 pin lol

Please help!
Thanks.

I guess it's not stuck in your motherboard, is it?!

If not, that's a good start... Is there a wire going to that hole? I've seen some power supplies that don't have pins in each hole...
