PSU affect performance ?

Does a PSU affect your graphic performance ? . im currently using Coolermaster extreme 430W(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817171007) on my 7600GT is it providing low/enough/high power ? and if i change to a 8800GTS 320mb can the PSU support low/enough/high ?

Don't expect that psu to power a 8800, maybe a 7900 at most

It should be fine with 7600GT but a 8800GTS might be stretching it, it only has one 12V rail with 19amps

which power supply from CoolerMaster is recommended for the use of 8800GTS ?

The 500W from the Coolermaster eXtreme series would JUST able to handle the 8800GTS... So maybe a notch up from that would do. BTW I think that this post should belong in the PSU section.-Thats where you would get more help I guess.

if i get a PSU that is just nice for the GPU will it affect my performance ? If i get a better PSU will i allow the GPU to perform betteR?

The card will be stabler (as well as all other components), and it could improve performance of the entire PC

My vote would be to get an Ultra or a FSP PSU, those are decent. -- I would recommend something larger like a Corsair PSU, it could last for another upgrade. I have the HX520W and haven't fired it up yet, but from visual review, it seems super solid.
