PSU and CPU fan.

Hi, Im planning on building a system with the below components, but im not sure is the PSU or CPU Fan are up to it. I don't want to spend any more than i have to as the build is already very expensive but i realise that having unreliable or unadequate parts could be costly in the long run. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

The Zalman cpu cooler should be a plus there. That is very close in appearance to the CNS9500 model used here with great results. The X-Power brand of supplies isn't a familiar brand here. I forced to wonder if that makes a "Good" or "Bad" list of makes like the list seen here.

Good:
Akasa PaxPower - Antec(except Smart Power models) - Astec - AOpen - Channel Well - Coolermaster - Enermax
- Enlight - Fortron Source (Sparkle) - HEC - Hi-Power - Jeantech - NSpire - OCZ Technology - PC Power & Cooling - PowerMan
- Seasonic - SilenX - SilverStone - Tagan - TTGI/SuperFlower - Vantec - Zippy / Emacs - Verax - Zalman
- Corsair

Bad:
Allied - Antec Smart Power models(recommend True Power or NeoHE) - Aspire - CoolMax - DEER - EYE-T
- KingStar - L&C - Linkworld - Logisys - PowerMagic - PowerUp - Powmax - Q-Tec - Raidmax - Skyhawk - Star
- Turbolink - Ultra - ThermalTake

That PSU is made by HEC, which unfortunately doesn't tell me much. HEC make some good PSUs, but also some pretty terrible ones, and I can't find any internal pics or reviews to judge by. For a system like yours, i'd avoid it though and go with something that's proven to be good.

Units like the Silverstone ST75ZF, PC Power & Cooling 750W, Seasonic M12 700W, OCZ GameXStream 700W or Corsair HX620W would be good choices.

The Zalman CPU cooler will be fine.

Zalman and Artic Cooling are the two choice brands to really look over when deciding on cpu cooling. Those two brands both have an edge over ThermalTake while that brand has some good ideas. ceeewi1's one advice on going with a "known" make for the supply holds true here as well. Usually when I hear an odd sounding off name the term "generic" seems to be the first reaction here.
