PSU and SLi

Hello, guys i was resently looking at different PSU online when i saw that some had ticks next to SLi, i wasn't sure what to think because i didn't know that the PSU ment you could SLi or not,can anyone explain this further for me please,

Labeling a PSU as "SLI certified" is more or less an advertising thing. Just make sure the one you're picking is from a trusted brand, has enough juice, and has enough connectors. A 400W model with one 6-pin PCIe connector is obviously not going to handle SLI, you know?
 
600W would be as low as id be comfortable going with those two cards, i did 550W with two 9800GTX+ cards but it was pretty damn unstable...
