I have no idea if this PSU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371016&cm_re=psu-_-17-371-016-_-Product Would connect correctly to this MoBo http://support.gateway.com/s/MOTHERBD/Shared/4006157R/4006157Rsp2.shtml (I'm a noob at computers) I have no idea if that PSU has the correct connections etc to connect to that MoBo.

That motherboard uses a standard ATX power connector, it will work fine. My only concern is that motherboard might be in a slimline case requiring a microATX power supply. Which model of computer is this motherboard in, or are you building a computer using that motherboard?

The mother board is in this computer http://support.gateway.com/s/pc/R/1009464/1009464nv.shtml so i think its good. I'm also planning on upgrading the ram in the comp as well so should i buy http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...cm_re=antex_earthwatts-_-17-371-044-_-Product to be safe or would the 430w PSU that you linked be sufficient?. The graphics Card that i have (but havent installed yet) a.t.m. only requires 400w.
