PSU Deccision

I'm trying to decide between these two PSUs

Theres this one http://www.pccasegear.com/prod4979.htm

And this one http://www.pccasegear.com/prod4976.htm

Basically they're the same but the second one is more expensive however has more features.I would like to save a bit of money, its going to be powering the PC in my sig except I will sooner or later replace the 7600 GT to an 8800 GTS .But I'm also not entirely sure how many of those power plugs on top of the card the 8800 GTS would need. I'm not sure what they're called.

Hey there. Just a quick question. what's the budget you're working on for the psu? I could recommend something from MSY for you, more than likely they'll be the cheapest for you.
 
I'm trying to keep the budget around 60 - 85. But I can go a bit higher if I have to or should. I never thought MSY delivered though.
 
Oh they might not. I didn't realise you wanted it delivered. Ummm, yeah not sure what you can get for 60-85 AUD. It'd be wise to wait to see what someone like ceewi1 to say.
 
I wouldn't recommend the TR2 470W for an 8800GTS. Truth be told there's not all that much in the sub-$85AUD range that will comfortably power what you want it to power. The Antec EA430W should be OK, but doesn't leave much upgrade headroom. To be honest I'd look at increasing your budget by $20 or so. At that pricerange you have quite a few great options, including the Silverstone ST50-EF Plus, Antec EA500W and Coolermaster iGreen 500W.

I should be able to increase my budget by 20$, I'll just have to wait a little longer to get it. And is it just me or is the Coolmaster site always full of broken links?

EDIT: Now that I look a bit deeper in my wallet I pull out just enough to afford the Coolermaster iGreen 500W. Judging by the reviews online it seems like an awesome PSU and great value too.
