PSU doesn't fit

hey all,

Just bought a new case (thermaltake V9) and started changing everything over today and got stuck with the PSU. The old case (don't know the make, cheap and nasty) had the PSU at the top and the V9 has it at the bottom. The problem is some of the cables don't reach to their sockets (one I don't know what it is and the optical drive cable). My question is, do I need to buy a new PSU or can I get extension cables?

Thanx for any help.

Thanx guys,

I can't post pix cause the misses broke the camera. It is an Amaroo 650 platnium? and its not upside down. i tried turning upside down and it still doesn't reach. Are PSU's made for top/bottom mounted cases because the cables come out from the bottom? Sorry about slow reply (newby). Think i'm just gonna buy new one anyway and use that one in the old case for a project pc.

P.S. gonna have to sell the misses to pay for it. hehehe

Thanx again.

Amaroo, never heard of them. I wouldn't trust it to power much anyway, so yeah best off getting a new one. Take a look at Coolermaster, OCZ, Corsair, Thermaltake etc.

Just out of curiosity, what are the other parts in your computer?
