Will this PSU (Spire Zeno 600 Watt)

work with this videocard (Saphire X1950 PRO), and how good is it?

I have spent a horde amount of time researching and studying PSU and I have never even heard of that one!


I strongly suggest you look for the Antec TP-3 Trio Rail 650 watt PSU at newegg.com for about $110.00 best bang for the buck at this time, has been the budget leader for a few months now!

the PSU you listed has no Power Factor Correction (PFC) any high quality unit will have Active PFC

you unit does not state the temp at which those amp ratings were obtained

you unit does not list an efficiency rating >>>>>>85% is a good PSU
unit

your unit does not state the temps which it can produce the its power at , the antec trio states 50C operating enviro limit

given all the knocks for your listed unit; I would say RUN away; dont walk

That's a rebadged Topower. It would be sufficient for an X1950Pro, but far from a great PSU.

Nice GPU selection first off, also I will concur with the sentiment of this psu, not quite quality, but would suffice.
