PSU not adequate for graphics card?

Hey guys, first post here. I'm no genius with computers and I'm still learning all the time, but I thought maybe some of you could help me out. I bought a new GeForce 9800GT OC today to replace my old GeForce 7900GS. The graphics card itself uses 425W of power...my PSU is 450W.

Now, is this too little of a PSU to adequately power my graphics card and the rest of the computer? When I run games they are lagging a little bit. In specific, World of Warcraft. I could run it on full settings except for shadows on my 7900 but on here when I turn it all up, it lags...not a lot, but a little bit. I may be just picky, but if I pay for this type of stuff I want it to run perfectly. Also, I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but these are my system specs:

-AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+
-3072 MB RAM

Anyway, if I need to upgrade my PSU it's no problem. But if it's a problem with my mo/bo or my CPU, please let me know! Any help is appreciated.

you should be alright, but I'm just going to give throw up some advice from experience. Go big now, so you won't have to later.

12v rails x4 @ 20amps each.:)

Ha, that psu is a piece of shit.

What exact PSU is that you have?

The 9800GT requires just under 9A to run (maximum, card only). Let me know what PSu you have (model and make), and I will let you know if it will handle your system or not. BTW, avoid Diewill (sorry Rosewill) at all costs.
