PSU Wattage

Just a quick question...I looked at your build and I am wondering why you would get a 9800GTX for 150. The 9800GTX is a great card...don't get me wrong...I used one for a long time. You can get an ATI 4870 on that same site for only 14 more. The ATI 4870 will crush the 9800GTX. Just something for you to consider:)

The Corsair 750w will be plenty of power for that build...I am sure you will be very happy with it.

Haha thank you for the tip =] i might just reconsider the graphics card also i did a test on the PSU calculator and i got a rating of 603 Watts with 15% capacitor ageing so should i get a 600Watt PSU?

With a set up like that...I personally would not get anything less than a 650w PSU. A little extra power is fine. How much are you paying for the Corsair 750w? Post a link

I see you are paying 75 for the Corsair 750w...here is an OCZ 700w ModExtreme modular for 66. OCZ is another great company that make great power supplies. The Corsair brand are wonderful power supplies...my only issue is they are not modular. I personally can not stand a big wad of unused cables in my case, I have to have a modular power supply.

Yes i heard about that them not being modular but i also heard that OCZ were pretty loud do you own a OCZ? and thanks for the great help!

I have never used an OCZ power supply, thousands of people do though. I have only heard good things about them. Many people on this forum will stand behind OCZ power supplies. The current build I have I used an Antec 650w modular power supply.

As for the noise...I don't know, might just have to do some research and see what you can find.
