What factors do I need to take into account when buying a PSU? (Particularly the wattage)

No more need to worry, I found out I need to sum the wattage of my components to get a minimum for my PSU.

Well, theres alittle more to it then that. You want aliitle overhead. Plus the quality of the power supply you get. A cheap power supply that claims 600W. Its probable its max watts, plus might just have 350Watts on the 12V rail with the rest dumped on the 3.3/5V rails.
