Pulsing Harddrive

I just got the western digital 320 GB

Its in and working fine but when i put my foot on my desk, i can feel it vibrate and it vibrates in pulses. Like vibrate for 3 seconds, nothing for one second over and over again (continuous)

Is this bad?>

no, i think it is the reading head moving about

Does it make any sound? If not then it's probably fine and just the drive bits movning.

Yeah, i knew it was the drive moving around but no, no abnormal noise.

Just my old comp i was pretty sure had a constant vibrating rather than pulsing.

But doesnt seem like a big deal, just wanted to make sure it wasnt something huge.
