Purchase assisstance on $600 & 800 laptop

I live in Hayward, California and I was wondering if anyone could help me locate TWO models of a laptop nearby in my local area that equals somewhere between my spending range of 600 AND 800 dollars. Need two laptops both with the same conditions as what I'll list below for what specs I look for.



I'm going to be using this laptop for video making. After Effects, Photoshop and internet video streaming [highly CPU intensive].

I'm hoping to squeeze out the best CPU I can get within the price range since CPU is my #1 spec.

I know you need a good video card to utilize After Effects the best BUT it's not as important to me as a great CPU.

I'll accept any amount of ram between 4-8. Even on the lower end like 4 is ok...but I need the best CPU I can get within that price range.

I also don't care much for a huge laptop / big monitor.

I cannot purchase this laptop online since I've got cash in hand for both. Could you possibly link me to a local store anywhere near Hayward, CA area code 94541?
 
Well I looked at best bestbuy.com and found nothing in your area with the model of laptops I would recommend, you might want to open a bank account and deposit or put that money on a Visa gift card so we can help you find something online. Just my opinion.
 
3 options, first newegg is pretty good cpu and good gpu, second is over budget by ~37 and is recertified, but great cpu and gpu, and the third is a great cpu but the igpu and a not as good brand

but the first is prob the best option since you can order 2 of it and be in budget, and still get good performance. but if you'd rather get one of the 2 better ones here are 2 under 600, i5 is faster but since what you are doing is threaded then the a6's 4 cores and better gpu might be prefered, but someone else can answer that

the hd should do fine, not that good but still fine. and the first one should do fine graphically and decent cpu wise.
 
well it is a recertified one, so it might have a scratch or 2 and might be missing something, but it will outperform anything for that price.
 
This may be asking much but could you find a good PC in the low $800 range (minus a monitor) at www.tigerdirect.com [newegg charges too much shipping/tax/other junk while tigerdirect charges zip for me which is a plus.]

I'm sure any 2nd Gen i7CPU or AMD equivilent is good enough for what I do so a bump up in video cards would be a good secondary since it seems Desktop PCs are cheaper than laptops especially if you already have a monitor to use.

Doesn't show how many PCIe slots are available [I need one to install my Black Magic Intensity Pro], I've personally never heard of Lenovo which worries me but I'm no expert, doesn't show power unit which also worries me. I'm really not that green around the ears with PCs but I'm also definitely no expert. So help is always appreciated from me.

Or should I just create another thread if this will no longer attract attention?

this is in budget, but it only has the intel hd 3000 gpu and an i5-2500k, and i was trying to stay cheaper, and in the end there wan't enough to get a better cpu and the other stuff was good enough so i just picked a nicer case

and the ram on newegg is so much cheaper and the shipping is free so the tax or anything will still leave it cheaper or it should, idk your taxes there.
 
Sorry, I wasn't specific enough in my previous post...but I have zero confidence in building my own PC. I meant a pre-made one. I had a few suggestions in the past edited-post.
 
If you want pre-made I would suggest, Ibuypower.com or cyberpowerpc.com. You can completely customize your build and they do the work for you.

But building a computer yourself is going to result in higher quality parts, because you get to pick the brand. That being said I bought a computer off cyberpowerpc.com in 2003 and it lasted until about 2008-09. Then the motherboard died and the processor fried to the heatsink.

Eitherway going the desktop route is much better "bang for the buck", then buying a laptop with similar specs to any pc.
