Purchased a 1920x1200 Monitor

Hello i'm a new User and i'm hoping some of you will be able to answer a few questions of mine. I appreciate any help!

My Old Monitor and here is the New Monitor that i just bought.

The questions I have are,
1. What are the best calibration tools for lcd monitors I could download/buy?
2. With the hdmi/speakers function would I be able to use my 5.1 headset while using my PS3 possibly through my External Soundcard?

My Rig should be powerful enough to run at these resolutions and i have room for the real estate so that isn't a issue.

This product will arrive on monday, this is only 2 questions that I have about it. I bought this monitor for gaming and general use. I personally think 1920x1080 16x9 is gross which is why I went for the rare x1200. Because it's rare though they are hard to find infact I believe this might be the best cheapest one you can buy right now as everything else is discontinued or open box.

Monitor got stuck over the weekend in my local UPS warehouse yet arrived and it's flawless looking not to mention huge! Patience phhh

Got Crysis 2 on Origin for 18 bucks gonna grab the dx11 patch and turn tessellation on with high res textures, here's hoping. Going to take a while to get used to how big it is.
