Purchased a new power supply but still get freeze's

I recently purchased a new power supply after it was suggested to me on here that, that could most likely be the main problem.

My pc was suffering from random reboots/freezing and after getting and hooking up the new power supply I still have the same problem, although not as bad.
Now my computer will at least get to desktop and even sometimes allow me to get online for about 10mins before it freezes up.

Can anyone suggest what could be the cause?

The drivers are updated and I dont think its freezing due to overheating because the computer and all its components inside are still cold when it freeze's up. I know the power supply is the correct one because I ended up purchasing the same type which originally came with the pc and that lasted a few years with no probs.

have you ran a utility to see what the temperatures are ? when it freezes can you restart right away? or do you have to wait a bit?

I can restart right away and just placing my hand on all the components I can feel their all still stone cold, they dont even get time to warm up before the com freezes.

Would I be having this issue if there was something wrong with my graphics card or maybe my ram?

I dont get the chance to run any real programs because when I do try to do something significant the com freeze's up. I also dont have any programs on my computer so, would be required to find it online and download. My computer was rebooted when the problems first started and I've yet to put anything on it at all, at the moment it has Internet Explorer and just all the other basic's which come with a com.

You don't need to install anything on that computer to run tests. You can download the software from another computer and burn it to cd and run it on yours by booting to the cd. You obviously have a hardware issue. Remove anything from the system you don't need. If you have more than one stick of memory, try removing all except for one stick and try again.

Honestly that sounds like one of two things.

1. Check your PSU...make sure EVERYTHING is 100% hooked in and nothing has been forgotten. This same issue happened in the past with your results.
2. Memory issue. Run MemTest (go to a buddies and burn it to a CD) can download it here http://www.memtest.org/ free for use.

If you have a flash drive I THINK it can run off it too.

If it freezes when you try to do something intensive, your computer will either be using your RAM, CPU or HDD. so one of those things is the problem. I haven't listed GPU because right now you can't even run games, correct?

I think your best bet would be testing your memory ASAP. If any errors come up just replace your memory.
