Purchasing new gaming rig

I'm purchasing a new computer to build this weekend. My friends recommended the Phenom x4 CPU as being the best bang for the buck processor. Found this deal available, wanted to ask for some advice as to whether or not I should go for this. Budget is 1,000$ish.

My main concern in the bundle is the graphics card. Don't really know about that series at all.

Windows Professional

and a $30 keyboard

Total is 992$

add a western digital black 1tb harddrive and a dvd rom drive of your choice, dont forget windows 7, otherwise that looks very solid. the rosewill psu should be fine, its gold certified for 80 plus. excellent buy to me...espically considering it has a gpu that isnt integrated, good motherboard, and ram.

bought one of those monitors, their fine, had one fail on me but the rma process came through fine, they repaired the bugger and it is good as new back in michigan for my aunt.
 
Alright, I think you guys are right in that the HDD is a bit small. What do you all think of this one? Trying to reduce cost a bit so went with a cheaper one.

SSD, from my knowledge, is only particularly better for speed. At about 100$ more, I think I will stick with a HDD.

I take it the graphics card is worth it then, since no one has said anything negative about it?

You realize you're already paying 100 for the ssd, you could probably get a little more for the money with a different combo that doesn't have an ssd but they are great to have, love how fast mine boots, it will ruin you to a normal 7200rpm boot drive, and mine's only running on sata II, about half of what it can run at

You don't get an SSD for storage, you get it for a faster computer, only putting your OS on it pretty much. :) Booting in 14 seconds is e-peen value. :D
It's a comfort thing as well. An SSD is a LOT faster than a normal 7200 rpm hard drive.

he already has one, the combo he linked had a 128gb crucial m4
