I'd say the quickest way would be to have other websites that are already accessed by crawler bots link directly to your site. The bots will then follow the link and find your site.

One of the easiest ways is just to submit your website to the search engine. For Google you would go to this site: http://www.google.com/addurl/

You'll probably want to check out the Google Webmaster Central as well, there are a lot of tools like Site Maps that really help with getting your site indexed.

Or you could just pay google to put you up there on the list of searched queries.....
