okay, i've been looking everywhere, and i'm not sure if i'm searching the wrong places or if it just doesn't exist yet.

what i'm looking for is a piece of software that will sit on my desktop and basically parse and read messages--preferrably sms, but email would suffice--and then execute scripts based on the message contents.

if you've ever heard about such a program, or have any ideas on what it would take to accomplish this, please don't hold back...

This is a forum. Not an instant help line. We dont live here ... waiting more than an hour wont hurt.

Shouldnt be too hard to program anyways, parse the text in, do a text search, done!
