Putting My Comp together

Most of my parts arrived today and I'm really eager to start putting this thing together. The only part I'm waiting on is the GPU (it was shipped from cali and won't be here until monday). Can/Should I start putting my computer together? The desire to do this is killing me! :mad: :mad::mad: :mad:
 
Go for it lol! My advice would be to put it all together, but don't switch it on yet, it could damage something, Unless it has onboard graphics.
 
Yeah, you can start putting it together, does the motherboard have onboard video by chance? If so, you can at least test everything and install windows. I usually put the vid card in last anyway.
 
You won't have any problems. It'll even turn on just fine. you won't have any video though is the only problem. Besides that, the video card just pops in as an after thought. So just put it together, turn it on to see that the harddrive is spinning, the fans are working, and the led's are lit.
 
I did the same thing. I ordered my card from EWiz and it took a week to get here. I built the rest of the rig while I waited. It just gives you extra time to work on your cable management ;)
