Hi, I was wondering if y'all could anwser a question I got.

I got my new comp put togeteher a few days ago and have been breaking it in by playing R6V2 for hours on end.:o:D

Anyway I downloaded HWmonitor to see what my temps are and I noticed a a difference between Cores 0 and 2 of about 5C.

I was wondering if this is normal or if the heatsink/fan might not installed right.(I am using the stock fan that came with the CPU.)

I am also using AS 5 heatsink compound so I guess the differences could go away when AS 5 settles.

Temps as of right now are.(Semi-idle)

Core#0-35C
Core#1-33C
Core#3-34C
Core#2-30C

Anyways thanks for any input,
Mike.

Thanks for the info.

I'll try those program and see what they say my temps are.

One of these days I'll get a good CPU cooler and some good case fans and see what I can do with some OC'ing.:D

Thanks again,
Mike.

Yep my cores are

32-31-25-28 atm so very normal....I use to think my 3rd core was off due to being so much lower.

BTW if your running stock settings with stock cooler...you can probably undervolt your G0 (if you have one) to lower temps. At stock I could run as low as 1.28v before it started to fail to boot up.

Though I was just playing around while I waited for my cooler so I could slap 3.2ghz.

Know a good cooler for Quad's btw?

I'ma go outside tonight do a overclocking session (It's meant to be -3c) So I can see what my chip is capable of.

If it's any good i'ma gonna either get a better cooler / 120 Extreme + 2 Delta's or go WC. :D
