What could I get a Q6600 to with stock cooling? My case is on the cooler side.
I would say 2.6-2.8Ghz
But the stock cooling is horrible, you should really invest in a good after market high-end cpu cooler such as the Zalman 9700 or the Tuniq Tower
If your case does have good airflow and ambient temps in general are fairly low, the stock cooler should suffice as long as you don't bump up the boltage - usually Q6600s can do around 3GHz without a voltage bump. If you go that far, though, watch them temps. What could I get a Q6600 to with stock cooling? My case is on the cooler side.
