In dailytech website it says that the Launch Price of Q6600 is $851, and in Q2 2007 it will cost $530

I recommend people to wait until Q2 2007 to get it for $530 only

Also HL2: Episode Two is going to take advantage of quad-cores, and it's said that it will actually make a significant improvement, vs the current multi-threaded games that are out today.

Hopefully there are alot of patches coming out for current games. It seems like alot of games couldn't even keep up with making them work with dual core CPUs, and we already have quad core CPUs coming out, lol.
