Q6600 vs Q8300

If I'd compare these two:

I would say that the Q8300 is slightly faster, but the Q6600 has better overclockability?

What say you? I'm planning on getting a EVGA nForce 780I with a processor in the 250$ range.

I like the Q8300 for it's 45nm technology. My Q9450 isn't quite the overclocker the Q6600 is but I am stable at 3.5ghz

Yeah you should probably go for the Q8300 been newer 45nm tech....do note though that the Q6600 has twice the amount of cache of the Q8300.

Q8300...4mb
Q6600...8mb

But its realy your call,personally for me that extra 4mb of cache the Q6600 has wins over the 45nm of the Q8300.
