Q9450 @ Newegg gone?!

Yeah I saw that to.I am in the final process of deciding what components I want for my build and it seems like Newegg doesnt order enough parts like the e8400 or q9450 for the demand and when they run out it takes a long time for them to restock...I am debating if the q6700 with the new price drop is the better deal .It isnt the new 45nm archetecture and doesnt have as much L2 cache but supposedly Oc well with 10 multi 2.66 start point.But I cant seem to get reponses from people who actually have it about their Oc's they can get with it :confused:

I was talking to the guy I bought my proc from and he said you can get 4.0 easily with water cooling.

So probably 3.8 with air.
 
I had the chance to get a Q6700 but I changed my mind and went with the Q9450 and I'm glad I did. I have not started overclocking yet but so far I 'm impressed with the cpu. Others have reported having problems with the temps but mine are fine running at idle 34C, 39C, 32C, and 22C.
 
Please post your Oc Colt once you have it maxed.I figure if it Oc 's the same as a q6700 it would probably be best to with the Q9450 because of the L2 cache
 
i noticed that a couple days ago and i just thought to myself...wtf. oh yeah and if you type in "q9450" the drop down box says q9450 (1) and if you click on it nothing :P
 
Just received email from zipzoomfly.com they have them in stock for 379.00.
