quad core supported motherboard?

we need a little more information. What processor are you looking at? Most new motherboards will support up to 6 core processors, but 100% will support quad cores.

i want a new computer really bad but havent built one since like the 90's, my custom pc lasted me quite some time. I want a quad or maybe six-core like you said and be able to keep up with the trending "super-computers". Anyways, I'm looking to get AMD and not INTEL with SSD support.

might I ask why you prefer AMD?

Either way, If you need a build list with components, we will need what country you are in and your budget.

Every single base is covered by Intel right now, except for the budget end. They have the mid market covered with their i3's, mainstream covered by the i5's and enthusiast covered by the i7. In their respective price range, AMD can't beat them and struggle to match them.

Speaking as someone coming out of AMD back to Intel for the first time in ~2-3 years, Intel are the way to go right now
