Quad FX

What cpu is the Core 2 Extreme QX6700? Is this the X6800 Extreme?

Edit: nevermine I missed it. Didnt know the quad core came out!

well, neither has AMD come out with the K8L yet, nor have they switched to 65nm processing.
these are jumps they need to make soon. lol
of course, this new motherboard technology should give them a bit of a break since its gotta happen sooner or later... i mean you can only have so much processing power assigned to a single bandwidth channel between cpu and memory....
which is why intels quad cores were bottlenecked horribly by their fsb at first...
