I was in the closed beta and I got owned. I played quake 2 and 3 when they first came out and played them to death like (about 10 years ago?) and there are many people who never quit playing quake. Those people were in closed beta and pretty much kicked the crap out of me.
I hope they bring back the fun mods like jail break. I loved that mod.

I wonder how light the system requirements are, I have an old dekstop in my basment with an MX 440, 512 Mb of RAM, and a P4 2.66 Ghz CPU and I'm wondering if it can run it.
Also I'm 777 in the beta right now, so probably 8 more minutes and I'll get to play!
The system requirements are almost nothing, I think all you need is a web browser and a decent connection if you don't want to get lagged out.
Also I don't think there will be mods, since you have to play through the browser.
It doesn't work :'(!! It keeps sending me back to the download screen no matter how I try to get to the site, whether it be through Google, or the URL or whatever! Can someone help please lol...computernoob1

If you refresh your page a lot you will move through the queue quickly
It's a great time killer while waiting in school.
