Quake Live with controller

Hey guys, I know PC gamers don't like hearing this so lets just get past it. Someone bought me a controller for my birthday (logitech) and I'd like to try it out on Quake live. I've seen some forums that say it can be done but I just can't figure it out. Computer recognizes controller but Quake doesn't have a simple option for it. I'd appreciate some feedback on this issue!

Your going to have to map the keys to the buttons on your controller. Unless you find a profile for it somewhere, what model is the controller?
