Right jsut a simple question, i have a computer running in my study connected to broadband, and i have a computer in my bedroom not connected to broadband.....what is the best option for me in connecting the 2nd computer to broadband?

A router is good. Or wireless, you can also share the internet from the computer you are using, and run a cable to the other room.

Are you looking for best (as in fastest, secured), easiest? For me, using a wireless router is the answer as there are no cables to run all over the house. You will need to purchase the router, and a wireless internet card for the other computer in your bedroom. Try to stay away from the really, really cheap, no name wireless cards. I can attest that Linksys, and Belkin are great as I use a Linksy Wireless router connected to one desktop, a Linksys Wireless card in another desktop, a Belkin Wireless card in the 3rd desktop, and a Linksys Wireless Card in the laptop.
