Question about bent cpu pin

I had a look at a build today and discovered the person builing it had applied to much force and bent one of the pins. He was desperate and straightened the pin with pliers and was able to straighten the 3 bent pins so they pointed straight up but still had a little kink in it though fitted into CPU socket i wonder whether this would still be a problem.

Any ideas?
 
As long as the pin didnt break off and it fits in the pin hole on the socket. It should be fine. Just remember if its ever removed that since it has a kink in it, it might be a little tight, so I would not just yank it out.
 
Yeah if it's still pointing straight(ish) and not broken off it should work fine. Good thing it didn't break because that's alot of money.
