question about "downgrading" to xp on new prebuilt computer

Ok, heres a quick question

Let's say I find a great deal on a brand new laptop that already has Vista installed onto it

But I want to wipe out Vista and replace it with XP

Will there be driver compatiblity issues with XP?

Or are new Vista prebuilt's made with Vista-only drivers?

It should be possible, but you would have to find the drivers for xp which may be tedious

instead of killing vista altogether, why not dual boot. its pretty easy; here is a web site that helped me tremendously.
about driver support, check the manufacturers site, most respectable companies have XP and vista drivers for download.
