I generally use win7 64 bit and trying to create a dual boot system with winxp prof.... which i was using earlier. I want to load those two op. system in two different hd. but after installing xp.... my win7 give be a error at startup like NTLDR missing. Then I use setupdisc of 7 and repair startup prob.... but now xp give be booting problem? Why is it happens? How I create a dual booting system? Moreover few months ago i create a d/booting system with7 and vista. But i uninstalled vista at the time of loading xp. But still now a screen arrives to select 7 or vista. How I get rid from this. Kindly answer.

Thanx for quick reply.
Actually I have installed 7 first & then xp and so the prob. occured. Sir win7 drive works fine... can access 2nd hd from win7... but when in boot menu i select the 2nd hd containing xp..... then it is not accessible... how i access the the hd containing xp? without accessing it is not possible to run easy bcd in xp.

When installing multiple operating systems, you should always start installing them from the oldest to the newer and NOT contrary.

windows 7 pro and ultimate can create a virtual disk and download windows XP, check out "windows XP for windows 7". Windows XP integrates perfectly and becomes a menu item.

I think my intel dg41rq m.board doesnot support to setup virtual xp. Although easybcd solved my problem. Thanx all for responding and advising.
