question about email clients

Been using Thunderbird for years. Curious about which one
you been using and why ya might not use Thunderbird. Is
any others and better. Also getting ready to change email address
again. Have to go back and forth between comcast and att uverse
for my cable, phone and internet service. back and forth all the time
to get the prices down. what a rip off. tired of it. just seem to charge what
ever they want. if ya try to talk price it won't happen. they will give ya
hbo, cinamax etc for 3 months. I'll likely go with gmail i think. tired of switching
and contacting everybody to change address. and the only reason for changing
email clients is because ive never had much luck training the junk control to
auto delete.

Mostly everyone nowadays either use Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail(Outlook). Too much hassle to switch providers all the time. Uverse isn't available in my city yet(not saying I would ever go to them but) so I have comcast for TV and internet. My contract is up next January so will see how much my bill goes up. They told me it would only go up by 20 or 30 bucks. I still have the paperwork with the prices.

I used to always encounter problems with email clients and ended up using Gmail through a chrome browser, I got used to checking email that way and never bothered with email clients on the desktop ever since.

Competition is good. ive always tried negotiating after two years.
I have talked to a rep and requested a manager and then get a discount
for 6mo or a year. they dont want to. For the record: i have internet, cable tv and regular
phone service. paying $249.00 a month. that does not include my cell phone service.
its game play that just goes on and on all the time.

Thats expensive. What tv package do you have? I have over 200 some channels no pay movie channels with blast (75mbps)internet and only paying $140 a month on contract. Actually getting almost 90mbps. I have magic jack as my home phone. Can't beat it.

I was using Thunderbird on all my pc's but started encountering issues with Thunderbird freezing on my laptop so I just use the web client for Gmail. Saves me needing to sync my contacts to the email client.

Just curious, but why do you use your email address provided by your ISP? As you've found, it causes issues when you switch providers. Just use Gmail or Outlook.

Im going to do it likely with gmail. Why ya ask, because comcast and att uverse
had the email address i wanted. gmail and others is going to require more letters or
numbers added because the name i wanted was already used. i was using my name
pretty much. i'll come up with something and stay with it. yes it was a mistake and
im done with it. changing all the time every 5 yrs.

One thing though. the way JohnB embedded the link or picture above.
I forgot how to do it and cant find the procedure for doing it now.
thanks

There are many ways to do it. You can click on upload a file on your post and do that way or you can actually use bbcode. All depends on what you want to embed. The speedtest website will do it for you. Click share result and choose forum option and copy link and paste it here.

Forgot to mention about ya asking about my cable. same as yours.

Its just basic. thats it. You will find out in time.
