Question about hard drive for Toshiba laptop

Hello,
I have a Toshiba laptop model #PSC16U-024-031 that the hard drive has failed in. I would like to replace the original Toshiba Hard Drive with this Western Digital one. I just want to make sure these are compatible.

Yes that drive will work. Any 2.5" SATA drive will.
