Question about iPOD video

Sorry if this is the wrong place for this. Anyway, I just picked up an 80g iPOD video and since I put it on my computer it has said "Do Not Disconnect" on the iPOD. It has been saying that for over 12 hours now (still says that when I'm waking up now), and I don't know what to do. I've already put some music on it, and tried closing iTunes, but it still says it. Thanks in advance everyone.

you could jst try taking it out, im sure its not going to break it, this happened with my friends creative zen once, but we took it out and it was fine.

Thank you both. It's working now. I have another question though. I'm reading my apple book I got with it and it says I can buy a USB 2.0 card so it can transfer faster (I have only USB 1.1). I noticed that it took a while to put songs on it so I think I will buy one. It said to go to www.apple.com/ipodstore. I went there and I can't find what I'm looking for. So can you guys help me find a USB 2.0 card to buy. Thanks in advance again.

Yea except that it's a lot cheaper from Newegg.

It will definitely work, as long as you have an open PCI slot.

How can I check if I have an open PCI slot? Or should I just trust I have atleast one because I have never opened up my computer and installed anything?

Just open up the case, and look in the bottom left. If you see an offwhite slot open, then the answer is yes.

That's what they look like.

I do have room to take it. The problem now is that I live in Canada, and I don't think either site ships to Canada. Newegg only talks about the States, and Tigerdirect doesn't have Canada on it's country list. Do you guys know of any sites that would ship to me? Thanks again.
EDIT: NVM guys, I found one that'll ship here.

Since nobody answered the original question correctly, I thought I would. When in iTunes, look on the left hand side. There will be a DEVICES list when the iPod is connected to the computer. You iPod should be listed. To the right there will be the standard EJECTION button with an arrow pointing up and a horizontal bar underneath it. When you have updated your iPod and want to disconnect, press the ejection button. Wait 5-10 seconds and your iPod screen will reappear and you can unplug the iPod.

how do i change the names of songs, albums and artists and stuff when theyre on my ipod?
You can only edit the song info through iTunes. You go to your Music Library, right click on a song and press Get Info.

my ipod did the same... its fine, just take it out nothing will happen
..wow, this generation is getting even more impatient! Is it that hard to press the eject button in iTunes and wait 10 seconds?
