Question About Memory

I just put in 2 more gigs of ram into my pc. I had 2x512 of ddr2 5400 and I added 2 more gigs 1x2 of ddr2 6400 ram. I know they will only run at 667 MHZ but then I decided to just put in the 2 ddr2 6400 and they still only run at 667 not 800mhz. I used CPU-z and it said that the 5400 was running at 333mhz. I need an explination?
 
Depends on your board, it might just support DDR2 677. If it does support DDR2 800 look in the bios and see if you can change it.
 
I wouldn't get too worked up about it, seeing as you as an end user are unlikely to be able to tell the difference. See what kind of RAM your other (2 x 512) sticks are and how fast they run at. The new RAM is likely to run at the same speed as the other sticks (assuming you have all 4 RAM slots used, 512, 512, 1024, 1024)
