question about mobo and cpu

hi i am wondering if it would be safe to use a mobo with 1333/1066MHz like this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128072 with a 800MHz cpu?

Are you talking about memory or CPU? If you mean memory, then yes 800 mhz will work just fine. If you mean CPU, then 8mhz is pretty long in the tooth and you may need to look for an older mainboard.

He's talking about putting a cpu with a fsb speed of 800 on a board that
has 1333/1066 fsb.

I would think it would work, but it would be bottle necking the board.

You could always upgrade the cpu later I guess.

with no problems...OCed to 3.4 and higher for short periods of time....All the time at 3.2...You won't have any problems with that...
