Question about Mutliplier

So currently i have my E4400 running at 333 x 9 at 1.250v but just wondering what happen if i raise the multiplier to 10 will I need more voltage to run it?

possibly. have you actually ran stress tests on that setting yet?

i have to run 1.5v for mine to work, but i kinda have a sketchy psu.

I thought the multipliers on that model are locked, well you can set it six through nine right ?

The E4400 can actually go up to 10x, which is the stock multiplier.

ya i ran orthos for 5 mins using scythe Ninja for cooling. Idle at 33c and full at 60C

5 minutes is good enough for a quick test i suppose, But if you want to be absolutely sure, i'd run her at least 12 hours if not more. I do 24Hour stress tests personally. Should be cake if everything is stable.

Raising the multiplier isn't a get out of Jail free card, It ups the stress on the CPU, and may require equaling out. I'd try it anyway though.

BTW when i try 8x400 with 4-4-4-12 timing. My Computer gives me a blue screen lol damn
