Question about my PC lagging while using google chrome all of a sudden?

Ok hi sorry if this is the wrong place to post but I figured maybe this is the section for it...



Anyway my questions are the following.


Why is it that suddenly I'm having problems with google chrome. I been using it for years on my computer. Since 2011 cause this PC is 3 years old now.

I have 2 browsers Google Chrome and Fire Fox.


The other day I suddenly have been lagging in my chrome. Here are the following symptoms of what I am getting.

1. I lag while searching stuff in google it takes a tad bit longer than usual.


2. On forum boards like these I lag so much while typing ( I'm lagging right now as I type this) Everything comes up slower.

And now here's a weird symptom
3. When watching videos on sites (not youtube, you tube has been alright) but other sites such as certain porn sites (lol) or game sites If I watch a video in regular sized mode. It comes off as SOOOOO laggy. But then once I put it in full screen mode I am fine and the lag is gone. Now ain't that strange huh? You would think it would be the other way around.... eh?



4. My CPU is going up and down even reaching 100 at times while in google chrome spiking that high at times.... Why is this?








I checked my PC for virus's there are none I did an avast scan. I also have malwarebytes and checked for malware did a scan with that and nothing was found....

So it's not malware or any type of virus.


I even deleted some extra videos I had on my comp from gaming recordings I did in the past to clear space thinking maybe that would help. I also deleted JPEG files from the games I played in hopes of maybe it would help lessen the lag.Thus having more space on my comp. So now I only have 70 something GB out of 390 something GB on my comp of free space. And STILLL I lag in chrome? What the heck?


I even tried deleting some of my favorite listed things thinking maybe that's the problem? (Got rid of around 50 or so favorite listed thing in bookmarks)
And yet even now I still lag...so this obviously is not the issue either...



I don't know what the heck it could be? And I use extenstions such as adblocker and advast web checker. But I even disabled those and I STILL LAG without them on....



Like I don't know what is the issue or how to fix this.... I don't know what is causing this and why.... Everything was fine a few days ago THIS suddenly... happened....

Please if anyone knows what the issue is and what's causing this and how I can fix this please let me know. I will appreciate any input.

Please do the following as you still may have browser addons that are causing your issue. Since you have been visiting porn sites i'm sure you have some sort of malware on your system.


Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode onto your Desktop.



•Please close all open programs and internet browsers.
•Double click on adwcleaner.exe to run the tool.
•Click on Scan.
•After the scan you will need to click on clean for it to delete the adware.
•Your computer will be rebooted automatically. A text file will open after the restart.
•Please post the content of that logfile in your reply.
•You can find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner[Sn].txt as well - n is the order number.

Please download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop.

•Shutdown your antivirus to avoid any conflicts.
•Very important that you run the tool in this manner:
Right-mouse click JRT.exe and select Run as administrator
Do NOT just double-click it.
•The tool will open and start scanning your system.
•Please be patient as this can take a while to complete.
•On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.
•Post the contents of JRT.txt in your next message.

Download OTL to your Desktop


•Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted.
•Click on Minimal Output at the top
•Click the Quick Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long.
◦When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL. Just post the OTL.txt file in your reply.

then post the logs from the following 3 programs.

1. Adwcleaner
2. Junkware removal tool
3. OTL
 
And one more thing I may add is that my chrome is up to date as well I even checked that and it says my chrome is up to date so yeah.... I don't know what could be the issue...

Thank you for your responce. But liek I said I checked for both malware and virus with my avast and malwarebytes I have a paid subscription to both programs so I have the best ones to check for that I don't think that is the issue. Plus like I siad my firefox works fine though so I don't know what the issue is. And the rest of my PC works fine as well including my gaming and watching videos that I recorded with WMV /realplayer and those don't lag. It's only my google chrome that lags.
 
Will you please just run the programs and post the logs. Adwcleaner and Junkware removal tool will detect things that malwarebytes and your antivirus program won't.

Ok so that's the report I copy/pasted it there. By the way I noticed my extensions like ABP and Avastwebrep and my other poperblocker all have different extenstion names and are different from the oens fround in the ADWcleaner program. What do I do now. Do I click clean? Delete? What do I do?
 
Oh ya I forgot I have IE on my comp as well I ain't used it in a long time though lol since my 2 main browsers are Firefox and Google chrome
 
Wow, look at all that malware...... :eek: :) You have to press clean to remove those. Please also run Junkware removal tool and OTL and post the logs.
